surge protector for 2020 Seismic 4113

I plan to purchase a 50amp surge protector for a 4113. Had used Progressive in the past for a 30amp TT we had, but considering another brand.

I would like to leave the protector in a storage compartment and run a 50 amp extension cord to the campground electric stool. I want to avoid someone from stealing it. Happened to us before. I prefer to use a portable protector because if it should blow it can be easily replaced compared to a hardwired unit. I read someplace where a 30amp TT owner has it set up that way.

Is it doable with the 4113 Seismic? I didn't make note of the the compartments and proximity to the TH cord storage area when we saw a Seismic last year and won't have access to one until May sometime when ours is constructed.

It would certainly take a load off our minds if it can be done.

Any ideas/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You can buy permanently mounted units that you can have installed. WatchDog is one I looked at
