I would start with breaker/fuse box, checking that you didn't pop a breaker or blow a fuse. I would then check inside the water heater itself for fuses and or fusable links, etc... Inspect the circuit board for damage or blown components. To me its either a blown fuse or a bad circuit board.

I disconnected the wire harness on the circuit board and cleaned the connectors. Then I had hot water... so let see how long that lasts? I thought it was the circuit board; but glad it wasn’t. There was ac2 amp fuse on the board, it was good
