Typically found on the back side of the hot water heater.

On our 2016 AY, it is under the refrigerator behind a grill that has to be removed to access it

That's strange, on my 2016 Alante AY the bypass is on the passenger side rear pass-thru compartment wall just inside the door, which puts it right next to the water heater.

Alante 26Y 2017

Well, here’s what I found out about the bypass for hot water. The 2017 Alante has the Nautilus water management system. In short, you can bypass at the managment panel on the left side of RV, in the panel next to generator. No more looking under/behind panels. Turn the toggles outside where you winterize/sanitize and your ready

I think this was a 2017 change. It’s a no brainer now

That's a good upgrade, on my 2016 it's also very quick as the bypass is easily accessible in the pass-thru.

Our 2016 supposedly is one of the first units built. As a result the compartments are smaller than the newer ones, and there's not as many. We have 6 storage compartments that are smaller than the newer ones I've seen on the internet. There's many differences between ours and the newer ones, placement of the bypass is just one.
