Alante 27A LP Quick Connect

Hi. I am on my 2nd trip ready to use my blackstone griddle using the LP QC already available on the rig… I bought the cable and converters for the Blackstone and once all
is connected.. NO GAS!.. it doesnt smell gas when the LP QC is “open”

On the RV the gas is working for everything else.. tankless water heater / stove / etc..

What I am missing?

Hope your 2nd trip goes well 4 weeks and we will be heading out for 3 months dose your black stone have a regulator. from what i hear that port is regulated by the main tank that would give you 2 regulators. there is a thread about this. The thread has to with 34G upgrades. It shows were you need to put a quick disconnect before the regulator on the tank.

We use a two burner stove outside our TT, and it does take a while for the burners to light if it's been a while since using it.

Relating to NO GAS, LPG gauge on inside panel reads F (all lights lite up), the gauge on the outside tank has no needle (odd). I was relying on the inside gauge and we ran out of propane. Shouldn't the outside gauge have a needle on it, and why was the inside panel reading full? Yes, I did check the gas flow. tried the light the stove and nada.
I guess I need an extend a stay device, and don't trust gauges.

SO I'm having this exact same problem on my new 2022 Alante 27A. From what I've read if the tank is over filled the gauge can jam. Trying ti figure out how to reset it...have you found a solution?

Yes, I did. I traded the whole unit for a DP and everything works.

I have a 2016 Alante 31 AV and i'm taking it into Ford for a check engine light problem. I'm not too confident the techs are going to know how to take the dog house out to work on it, should they have to. I discovered I don't know either!! How does one remove the dog house on this vehicle??!!

Unable to find the threads that talk about this right now but will keep looking. I do recall reading (I think) that there are a few screws under the center electronics stack (Dash radio, AC, etc..) cover, so you have to remove it first. I wouldn't be concerned about Ford too much, if they've work on F53 chassis a good bit, they've done this before. Maybe ask them before bringing it in.
