Alante 31V

We just purchased a 2017 Alante 31V. We pick it up in a couple of weeks. We're excited as this RV fits our family's needs. If anyone has any feedback on their Alante I'm all ears.

Congrats! We bought a new 2016 in Dec. Been working on upgrading it over the winter since it's winterized and plan to take get out in March. We looked at many 28-31' Class A's and ended up choosing this slightly larger mh because of the perfect floor plan larger counter space, amenities and good reputation of Jayco.

Hope you enjoy yours as much as we expect to enjoy ours!

Thank you Allen. Congratulations to you. It sounds like we experienced the same thing. We also were looking at under 30ft but the layout, space, and storage made the most sense for what we needed. Enjoy!

Let me know how you like yours and what issues you encounter.

We are scheduled to take ours back to the dealer to:

- replace the entry door since it often sticks, due to someone trying break into it while at the dealer's lot
- replace the small slide topper since it was scraped on the lot
- install the lock nut on the driver seat for the recall
- replace the bathroom cabinets and mirrors since the adhesive has failed and caused the mirrors to partially slide down.

Although this may sound like a lot, we identified all of these before our PDI and have been waiting for the parts to come in the past few weeks.

Congratulations, we have a 17 31V that we picked up June 28 of last year. We've been out 6 different times with it before winterizing it and storing it in November.

Can't wait to get it back out this spring. We have had a few minor things happen that our dealer took care of for us without incident. The only thing in hindsight I wish I had done, was order the rear TV, and the drop down bunk.

Enjoy!

@Graunke, ours has both options since we want to be able to watch our shows in bed while teenagers are in the over-cab bunk!

I have the drop down bunk but I don't have a rear tv yet. I'll add one in the rear after we pick up on the 10th. I'm really excited to get it as I know my family is going to really enjoy it. I'll follow up once we take out first trip and give you my feedback.

Be sure to take some pics of how you do the install yourself. I want to do this to mine since I didn't order it that way.
