Anyone install dimmers on Dinette sconces?

On our '17 31UL the two dinette sconces are often way to bright for anything other than playing a board game, etc. Has anyone replaced the rocker switch with a dimmer switch? Is it a typical household dinner or some RV special thing? Behind the rocker switch it's just regular wiring so wouldn't any Home Depot slider-dimmer work in place? Oh!, and is there something special about getting the passenger USB port (by her right elbow) to work?, or is ours just broken? Don't want to add it to a punch list if it's simply that we're missing a step.

Not sure about the dimmer, but if your not hooked up to power then I believe the inverter must be on in order to power the passenger pedestal.

But wouldnt logic dictate that a USB next to the passenger would work when the vehicle is in motion with the engine running?

The 115v power to the receptacle power the USB ports, not the battery power.

LED Dimmers

I have installed 3 dimmers and will install more. LED dimmers do not work the same way as conventional AC dimmers do. They need to have a dedicated negative wire going to the lamps to be dimmed.
