Bluetooth microphone

The Bluetooth phone connection on my 2021 alante 31v is really bad. Does anyone know where the microphone is?

Mine was tucked under the dash. It has a cord, so you can bring it out and attach it to the steering column or dash or whatever, but mine was bundled up and tucked under the dash. Well still is, I don't use it. If i'm driving I do not use the phone at all. If its important, they can talk to the DW or i'll pull over.

It's in my link, i.e., mic and black wire. it's a simple small male plug into the back of the radio unit.

Look under the dash, you should find the microphone bundled up and tucked under the dash. Just un-bundle it and bring it out and mount it tot he steering column or dash and you should be fine. It has a clip attached to it, so you could give enough slack and attach it to your lapel while driving if you want.



Bottom line is its tucked under the dash, find it and bring it out closer to you and it should work.

Attached a pictue of the microphone in my unit. I don't use mine so still tucked up a bit, but pulled it down so you can see where it is.

I think that the location of the mic is too far away to work well. I use separate Bluetooth mics which work great.

The microphone itself is not bluetooth, its wired into the radio in the back. I agree, it is too far, but Jayco just zip tied it under there for storage until the sale. Once you own, it, you can pull it out from there and mount it where you'd like or clip it on your lapel if you so desire while driving. It's not a bad microphone, its just stored under the dash, so unclip it amd move it to where you want.
