Burnt oil on dipstick (Alante 31V / F53 Chassis)

Probably not really an issue but I noticed an area maybe 16" up from the tip of the engine oil dipstick, where the dipstick metal is discolored and oil is burnt black on to the metal. I suspect that is where the dipstick tube is somewhere near the exhaust header (no way to check) and hopefully not a problem.

Anyway, question is if this is normal and common or if I might have a problem.

Tnx, JB

Your thought sounds likely but I would have to verify it to relieve my mind.

There has to be some way to see it if you are limber enough and have some mirrors.
