Looking for a TOAD

We have a 2018 Alante 26X. Has anyone out there towed a jeep with this model ? I am wondering if it is too heavy, or too much wind resistence.

I have a 2018 2 door wrangler with the stay and play brake system and a the blue ox tow bar - not a cheap install about 5K - I had originally towed it with a precept 31u and now with a 36U precept prestige - with both tow vehicles I would occasionally turn on the back up camera to make sure it was still there. A very smooth towing vehicle - both my RV's were rated at 5'000 tow capacity. I hope this helps.

It all depends on what your towing capacity (GCWR - GVWR) is and which model Jeep you want to tow. Jeep Cherokees can be towed by most motorhomes whereas the Grand Cherokee with V8 is over 5000 pounds and outside the towing capacity of some motorhomes.

Additional info is required to provide further assistance.

I have a 2018 26X and tow a 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited with no problem. I have a Blue Ox Tow Bar with a Blue Ox Base Plate and use a M&G Brake System. The M&G is a fantastic system, but it may not your cheapest option. JH

I have a TJ Wrangler, it’s has the aerodynamics of a brick, when it’s on the trailer i can tell it’s there. You can add extra air to the tires to lower the rolling resistance and have it tow easier. The nice thing about a Jeep style vehicle is it gives you the opportunity to explore more areas than you could with other vehicles...

Same as others have stated, don’t even know it’s back there.

We have a 315 Precept 2016. Bought a Ford Focus to tow. Never know it is there and great gas mileage when running around in it. Only complaint is we had to install a step down hitch so very steep inclines you need to take care

Noticed most all toads are jeeps and wondered why. Im thinking of towing an explorer w/ a greyhawk 29 mv, does it need to be flat toaded?
