Always a good idea to put your year, make and model of RV on your question.
A few weeks ago I saw some postings on bad air shock supports on a few models. Also, they can fail. In the past I have replaced ones on car back hatches. If one is working and other is weak or bad then you will get twist. And of course check that both are set at the same adjustment points when open and closed. Check for clean rails that don't have dents or screws sticking up. I put a little pure silicone on them when the bind a little. Don't spray the air shock support arm, just the pivot points.
