Recommendations for 36t

We currently have the trailer in our Sig and are interested in a leftover 2017 Precept 36T. I know the quality isn't as good as Tiffin or Winnebago but neither is the price point. We will be full timing in it and was wondering if anyone has one and if they are satisfied with it. The unit is 200 miles away so i'm getting as much information as I can before we make the trip. Also if someone could give me the dimensions of the two showers. I'm worried that they're too small to fit in comfortably.

It is a new model this year and has a lot of nice features. If it's at Albany RV be careful with your service needs planning. It's possible it's an early production model that could mean a greater potential for new rig problems because they had not worked out all if the new model build issues.

John, We have looked closely at the 36T and love everything about it. Because of all the features, there is going to be more maintenance. I would have to rely on my dealer for this but with your background, I would be very comfortable owning it. Good luck with your decision.

The Georgia Dawg

We got a 36T last month. Took it on its maiden voyage from Atlanta to Orlando. It's my first Class A. It drove fantastic and even got about 9 mpg, an improvement over our 2015 Greyhawk 29ME. I believe the new transmission had something to do with it. The Pioneer Radio did not have a GPS or SiriusXM with it but they have addons for them. I"m going to put them on this weekend.

Fort Wilderness is too expensive. We stay in a Orlando City Park called Bill Frederick Park at Turkey Lake. It is about 2 miles from Universal Studios. Full hookups for about $23.00 a night.

We are on the maiden voyage of our 2017 36T. We drove from Milwaukee Wisconsin to Waco Texas. We didn’t have time for a shakedown trip so we just crossed our fingers and dove right in. We’re very impressed with the RV. All the systems work flawlessly. And the finish and trim is all great. Just two small pieces of molding were loose. Our 36T has the 12 ft.³ refrigerator. I think I would’ve preferred the pantry for extra storage space. We got 6 1/2 miles per gallon going about 70 miles an hour the whole trip. It handles beautifully. You can feel the Crosswinds. But it’s not as bad as my first camper – a 1968 VW van.
