Reviews Embark

Thinking about trading in a 2019 Pinnacle and getting the Embark Diesel Pusher. Looking to see if anybody can tell me what kind of problems to expect. Pros and Cons. The Pinnacle had a load of problems. I did see it has the Duramax engine and the Allison Trans. I like that. My current Silverado has the same.

The EMBARK is on a SPARTAN CHASSIS with a CUMMINS engine and ALLISON trans not a DURAMAX.

Spartan® K1 raised-rail chassis
Cummins® B6.7 turbocharged 360 HP engine 800 lb. ft. torque at 1,800 RPM
Allison® 3000 MH 6-speed transmission

I see your right. I was looking the other day and thought I saw Duramax. Guess I was wrong. Cummings is ok with me.

They made a similar unit in 09 and 10 only on a FREIGHTLINER chassis, but for some reason it wasn't a big seller. I think at the time the pricing was too close to the ENTEGRA line.

Thanks Grumpy. Still in the early stages of what I want. Would love to keep the Pinnacle But I am getting tired of it always being in the shop. This time for Sidewall Crack , Furnace and a roof replacement due to a storm this past summer. (Of course the storm was not there fault. Just took 6 months to get an Appointment )

We sold our 2019 Seneca and purchased a 2020 Embark in Connecticut, drove 2,600 miles home to Idaho without a single problem, Husband loves the stability of the Spartan Chassis.

I’ve got a 2019 37mb. The 360 has plenty of power on normal roads but I don’t know about in the mountains.
