SuperSteer Rear Trac Bar on Alante 26X

I have a 2018 Alante 26x my wife and I just purchased. Drove horribly, but have put on new shocks, a safetyplus steering bar, and front Sumo Springs, and a front end alignment. Drives MUCH better. Still get push from semi's, and if there is any wind it's rough to drive.

Heavily looking at the SuperSteer Rear Trac Bar, and when I look at the one for a heavier coach it makes a ton of sense, but for the 16-18k coaches, it is a different style bar, and it seems like it wouldn't even make a difference.

Has anyone put a supersteer rear trac bar on their lighter coaches and seen a difference?

Thanks for the input.

I have the 18K chassis and it made a world of difference. In fact it made more difference than anything else I have done so far. I have only done the CHF, the rear trac bar, steering stabilizer, and very recently front radius rods. The rear trac bar really made the difference in the push from passing trucks.

I believe I got the ultra RV version of it, but it made a huge difference. Here's a link to the mods I did.

Try the CHF, it made a big difference in the amount of side to side sway on our 2017 26X. That, Konis, and the Safe-T-Steer and it's one hand driving, even when semis are passing.

Ask Supersteer. I have that same 18K one on the Alante 31V, helps with push but not the initial pull in from the semi. If I push either back side of RV, it wiggles L/R more than I’d like.

Thinking it would not hurt to have the heavier model. Unless it does not fit exactly. But you might be on to something.

Modifications

Have 26X, rear track bar helps, so does steering stabilizer, front air bellows to finally level side to side and less tilting in turns.
Can drive with 2 fingers.
Greetings from Harold
