Tire Air Pressure/Road Ride/Koni Shocks
I was thinking, and maybe I'm over thinking.......I set up my cold tire pressure to the manufacturers psi recommendations which is 82psi. As the tire heats up during driving it goes up 10+psi. The extra psi certainly contributes to a stiffer ride.
Has anyone set their cold tire pressure lower than the manufacturers so that when the tire heats up it is at the recommended tire pressure....in this case set cold pressure at 72+/- and as the tire heats up is will be at 82+/-? I know you can never get it exact but perhaps this may smooth the bumps somewhat...or am I just over thinking? Or just crazy?
Second question.....thinking about replacing my OEM shocks with Koni FSDs....anyone have any experience on ride improvement with Koni vs stock shocks?
