Towing a Ford Fusion?

I tried asking this in the towing forum and got no responses. I am hoping someone may be able to help me out on this forum...….
I am wondering if anyone has a ford fusion in the 2010 "range" that they tow behind a motorhome? If so how is that working for you? Do you run the engine for 5 minutes before you tow the car and shift from ingear to reverse to neutral? and then repeat every 6 hours? Also do you ALWAYS keep it under 65 mph?
I tow a 2003 Chevy Malibu right now and it is getting a little old and worn down. I normally keep it under 65, but there are times when I exceed that! Especially going down hill.....
If you have found anything out of the ordinary I should know please share!

Just did our snowbird cruise from Idaho to Arizona. Prestige 36ft with 15' Impala on tow dolly. Flawless performance. Just need to fix poor craftsmanship in the coach. Water leaks (fingertight fittings under sinks), TVs don't work on cable (not even connected behind antenna/cable switch), and several other annoying issues tthat should have been caught by supervision or quality control. Sorry for the rant. Full-time RV life isn't for the faint of heart.
