What do you like about your Jayco Class A motorhome

Please post your happy moments with your motorhome.
To many complaints because we forget about the good.

I will start with this:

Installed solar panels and all the pre wiring was perfect.
Location of wires and routing.

Greetings Harold

I love the auto leveling jacks. Makes for a quick campsite setup.
The heat pump A/C feature is great for fall and winter camping.
The Precept's windshield is the largest in the Industry. What a view both while driving and camping.
Great way to get away from the everyday life/work routine!

We took a memorable trip out to Yellowstone this past summer with my daughter, son-in-law and two granddaughters. Plenty of room for sleeping, storage, cooking and conversing. The W/D combo was a lifesaver and the macerator is one of the best features around. The family time spent around the campfire and lounging in the RV and seeing the sights was priceless. It would not have been the same if we had made the trip living out of motel rooms. The cost of our RV purchase was money well spent.

The floor plan has been a perfect fit for our needs. It was very popular until 2012, then done away with. There are plenty others to choose from but ours is home away from home.

The Murphy bed, gives us a lot more room when it's up.

There are things that I would do differently including a bigger rig after coming from a toyhauler with lots of space but overall it works fine for the time we spend in it and stressing about what could be different is counter productive.

It really does seem we spend too much time worrying about what is wrong and not enough time worrying about what is right.

Well, I don't have a motorhome, but I like that my trailer is solid, everything still works (but the radio) after all these years and many miles of travel, and it's paid for.

It’s not a motor home but this is what I like about our Hummingbird. Really like the Murphy bed. Full size bathroom. Easy to tow. Can get in and out of just about any gas station/parking lot. Can stay hooked up at just about any camp site. Easy to heat and cool. Minimum amount of do-dads to repair. Able to park it at home, and it’s paid for.

Also, not a MH, but our TT is simple. No slide, manual awning and jacks, and it fits where it belongs in the driveway. A perfect size for the two of us, tons of cupboards, and yes, being paid for and trouble free (so far).

The beefy (1-3/4” diameter) front anti-sway bar and the front track bar (suspension improvements) as part of the J-Ride Plus on this 2020 coach. My trip back from Houston to Denver in my new-to-me 31UL was my first ever drive in a Class A and I was pleasantly surprised ….. even with some moderate cross winds in northern New Mexico. Even at 13 ft height, it was almost as stable as my old Class C at 10-1/2 ft (and LOTS of chassis upgrades.)

The rear anti sway bar is a little wimpy (Ford OEM, I believe) and I plan to add a Roadmaster when the weather here permits. That plus an alignment to ensure I have 5 degrees of positive castor and I am done. Pretty good installation video here:

https://www.etrailer.com/Anti-Sway-B...20902907125584

BTW- My steps failed to deploy when I opened the door at the end of my 3-day return trip (a little over 3 weeks ago.) Troubleshooting with Lippert’s procedure revealed a locked-up motor/gear assy. Not a fault with Jayco as they buy these (Kwikee) step assemblies from Lippert and the factory installation looked just fine to me. I thought I just had an “infant mortality” type of failure (the coach had 2500 miles on it when I bought it) but when I got under there on Saturday to replace the operating assy, I noted it had obviously never been lubed by the PO. The steps swung freely at the mid/bottom portion, but a LOT of drag on each end of travel. I lubed the heck out of the steps (with the ”Kwik Lube” Lippert recommends) after installing the new parts and all is now good.

I like the floorplan option that allows me to have all my slides on the drivers side, so when "living" I don't bump my head or have to work around or under a slide. The floorplan is exactly what we wanted and I wouldn't change a thing, whereas alot of times its a compromise. I like the customer support from Jayco when I call and ask for information and other issues. I like the level of quality and value I got for my money, considering my new Class A was less than a new F-250 King Ranch. I like everything about my Jayco, including minor repairs and fixes which allows me to learn more and more about my unit.

We absolutely love our 5er, roomy interior with opposing slides make it very homey. We've had 5 people in the living area at the same time and didn't feel cramped. great stuff!

The auto leveling jacks can be operated with cell phone when you install the app.
So you can watch the whole leveling outside.

I have a big rear sway bar, maybe part of "Jay Ride"
