Here is an inexpensive Air Conditioning/Fan mod for the Eagle 284BHS lower bunk. We use the top bunk for storage and only the bottom bunk gets used. It is always a little warmer in the lower bunk area as there is no air circulation. I went to Home Depot and came up with the following fix. They have a Dryer Dock vent hose quick connect fitting that fits the need perfectly, without any cutting. I removed the existing AC vent deflection plate and replaced it with the quick connect base fitting. I just needed to make 3 new screw holes. The other part of the quick connect fitting attaches to the 8 foot by 4 inch foil hose with a hose clamp. Extended it over the end of the upper bunk and aimed it into the lower bunk area. Problem Solved!!! Happy Campers!!!

THAT is brilliant, out-of-the-box thinking, my friend. Thanks for sharing!
