29.5 BHDS mods
Today was get some stuff done on the camper day!
Installed:
2 Trojan T-105 (6 volt) batteries for more dry camping power (don't worry, battery box is in the works)
Fishing Rod holders on the ceiling of the basement
A wood backing plate being the battery that will hold my solar controller
And, I ordered my 200 watt Renogy starter kit. I plan to use it as a portable kit for the time being until I use it for a while and get a better idea of how I will use solar.
Oh, I pulled out the Yamaha 2400 inverter generator to see if it would run the 15k air conditioner. It won't! :-( I even flipped breakers to make sure all the juice went to the AC. No dice. Oh well, I knew there was a pretty good chance it wouldn't work. Now it's confirmed. By the way, the internet tells me my air conditioner already had a hard start capacitor from the factory.
Next weekend should have me setting up and testing some portable solar!
Anybody want to buy a slightly used battery?
