No help for me, just made my light switches more sensitive. Thinking about taking it out.

I can't help with how to make bluetooth better but it is possible to achieve your goal, manage bmpro/jaycommand while far away from your camper if you can use BMPro Cloud... here are a couple ways:
1. While traveling... with your smartphone, enable HotSpot... in your camper, (do this before you start driving) log your bmpro wall tablet into your HotSpot and then you can run JayCommand on your phone and it will be like when you are using bluetooth.
2. While camping... In your camper, log your tablet into campsite's WIFI and then you can run JayCommand on your phone and it will be like you are using bluetooth next to your camper.

Both these methods leverage the free BMPro Cloud account. Here are the details within the owner's manual. (page 17)

BmPro works from my truck while driving without the extender...it takes a little longer to find the bluetooth....about 1 minute...but it connects and is solid once connected. iPhone 11

I never could get the TPMS to work in my tow vehicle either. I searched extensively and even was promissed the BLE extender would be the part I needed once it came out on the market. I have spoken with the US rep in Indiana some time after it came out, but at the time when no one knew how to order it. He said that it was not made to extend the bluetooth signal from the node to the phone connection, but to strengthen the signal from the individual sensors to the node! Well, crap with that. I chucked the sensors and got a Tireminder and am not looking back at a BMPro solution. TPMS is useless if you're not able to use it underway.
