Battery box inside a larger storage/tool box?

Does anyone see a problem putting the battery box inside a much larger metal tool box provided it is secured, protected from tools, and all wires well protected from rubbing? There is just no place to put tools on our 2008 Octane.

The battery WILL vent acidic gases that will corrode your tools UNLESS you have a battery box that is vented to the outside of toolbox.
