deleted bench and rebuilt table

I decided to eliminate the other bench and while I was at it, replaced the two "poles" holding the table up with an Oak base. Much sturdier.

Table

I really like your new table setup. Sadly, I have a converter in one bench and a pump in the other. Or I would do as you did. Nice work.

Nice job, Troutslayer; the chairs are SO much more comfortable than those benches. I did something similar in my Jay Feather 24T:

I am trying to convince the DW to allow me to "delete" the benches (noting inside them) and replace with swivel chairs like office or computer chairs. She is afraid on the chairs moving while towing and causing damage.
How do you keep your chairs stable during towing? How also the table?

Bungee or straps; seems to me like an easy fix.

The table is screwed to the floor but the chairs just sit there. I just make sure they are pushed up against the table or loveseat so they don't move if I make an emergency stop. No problem with "jack rabbit starts" . However, they do not have casters or swivel as you have mentioned. BTW, these are the chairs.

We just take two chairs. We lay them on their backs under the table and the chair legs sort of interlock. The chairs mostly stay in place in transit.
