First Mod.

I'm new to the RV world and am learning a lot. The wife and I picked up a very clean 2007 23FB Jay Flight and I've been getting it ready for a trip to Boone, NC in Oct. for some camping with my son and grandkids. While it is a very clean TT it's also obvious (after reading a lot here) that little or no maintenance was done on it. The tires were 7 years old. I've put on new tires and am taking it in tomorrow to have the breaks checked and bearings packed. Could do it myself but have gotten lazy in my old age.The battery was also 7 years old. Replace it and put on a MaxxAir for the vent. Along the way I wanted to personalize it a little so I put in a tile back splash behind the stove. Everything works except the TV. I'll figure that out eventually.

Sorry, looks like I put this in the wrong forum.

Nice back splash addition. Make sure the television is digital, if it is a 07 model. May be time for a flat screen digital model, they are so cheap now.

that is a great mod, you will have to let us know how it holds up after a couple of years of bouncing down the highways.

Is that ceramic? Are you concerned that the grout will crack while on the road?

Nice looking tile job. Good decision on the brakes, bearings, and tires.

Great looking tile! I saw some similar in Costco and was seriously considering it.

I bought the Costco stuff, but used it for an entire wall in a very small 1/2 bath in the big house. Looks good, and price was right....

Thanks for the compliments.

So far so good. Did about 1,000 miles to NC and back. Unless there is flexing of the wall it should hold up just fine. I'll keep an eye on it and will post if there is any problem.
