Ok, so we bought a new trailer, that had more space for us, but one thing the old trailer had was plenty of storage, so before DW lost it, I needed a plan. Let me start by saying I am not that skilled when it comes to woodwork, but something needed to get done. Which makes me wonder why some trailers have kitchen cabinets, that are tall, but have no shelves? See image 0105.
We tried store back racks, no luck, see image 0098.
Things just ended up like this see image 0101.
Soo bought a pine board, 6 dollars.
Some stain, 5 dollars
Went to where I have the trailer parked for the winter, measuring tape and camera in hand, and lets face it, with the price of gas, this ten minute round trip is the most expensive part of the whole job.
Got home and cut up the shelves, cut some braces for the shelves to sit on, and bought a tube of PL preium glue (another 6 dollars).
Cut some guages blocks for the braces to sit on, help keep things level while the glue set up, of course messed up the measurements for the guage blocks, didn't take into account the electrical outlet, so had to improvise.
After about 30 mins complete, see image 0108
