Storage Nook

Like all of us you can always use more storage, and I found some under utilized space on our 2017/18 212QB, at the side of the sink base next to the entry door.

Using various sizes of craft wood and 1/4” plywood for the backer I assembled this nook that so far hasn’t yet coughed up it’s goods during transit.

I purposely designed it so that the shelves were lipped on the bottom and top, to keep things “Secured for Sea” sorry that’s my inner Coasty speaking...also the bottom shelf for the taller items has a small bungee to keep things from falling over.

Don’t really have a parts list or plan other than I bought the craft wood at Lowe’s, and attached all the pieces using a pneumatic brad nailer, and Yankee Ingenuity.
I also stained it to match the 80s themed interior...

We use the nook for : lighters, playing cards, flashlight, suntan lotion, and keys, etc...Also attached to the side of the nook is a bottle opener for good measure.

That looks like a handy thing to have just inside. I don't have that fp but ideas are always appreciated.

I stole the idea from my brother in laws Coachman Leprechaun, they love having all those little items close to the door. Glad you like it, thanks!

Good idea for a lot of those odd and ends. We have the same TT and find the space is perfect for a couple of 1-gallon jugs of drinking water on the floor and the pop-up extra shelf. It looks like you built your shelves to come down just above the CO alarm attached to the cabinet?
