Tent ?

We have a 2008 17 EX Port and my dog falls out of the trailer at night. He leans on the front of the soft cover over the bed.
Is there a way to attach the cover permanently and be able to fold it up?
We were going to trade it in but we just love our coach.

Why not just cut a piece of luan to lay across the area where he sleeps. You can stick the bottom between the mattress and the frame.

I used pool noodles when our kids were babies and stuffed them down between the matress and tent material
