Tongue Mount Battery Box?

I’ve got two of the plastic battery boxes on my tongue for my lead acid group 24 batteries. I’d like to upgrade to 2,3 or even 4 100ah lithium batteries but am unsure how to mount them on the tongue.

Has anyone done something like this? DIY boxes? Prebuilt?

Search for trailer tongue boxes. You will probably have to mount over the tongue not below.

I saw this on a quick search. This should accommodate what you need.

If you are mounting 3 or 4 lithiums, make sure the box or boxes are lockable. That may or not slow down thieves. I had two stolen last fall.
Too expensive to neglect that aspect these days.

If there is space available inside the RV, that is the best option. Considering the price and the fact that they don't work well in temperature extremes. They don't release gases, are lighter and orientation is not a factor in mounting. Also, frees up space on the tongue for additional storage. Maybe the location inside will be closer to the fuse block allowing for shorter cables.

Looking for a tongue box myself to store slinky, etc. Saw an Ebay site ssnpower718 showing a lot of boxes for what looks good pricewise. Anyone buy from them and how are the boxes quality??
