Maiden voyage

Bought a 2009 X23J a month or so ago and made it out for its first use this past weekend to one of our local campgrounds, Pinery Provincial Park, on the southeast shore of Lake Huron. The pictures below show our trailer with two chipmunks (Alvin and Theodore) in the chairs. The next pic is our view which is the old Ausable River that flows through the park. Headed back to the same park but different area in two weeks.

Looks very nice. Have you ever been up to Chutes provincial park? It's east of the use maybe a couple of hours? Very cool park.

We stayed at the Pinery last week in the same section as you. Those river sites are hard to get but sure are nice this time of year with all the bird migration. We like to go there off season when its not to crowded. Only problem this time was the showers weren't working on the last night. Just drove to another area and showers were fine.

Everything went well except I discovered the hard way that after de-wintering a washer had dropped out of the connection at the bottom end of the inline water filter. Was able to find it.....after using lots of paper towels. Thankfully I hadn't turned on the water pump then walked away.

I haven't been to Chutes Prov Park but I looked at it and it does look quite nice.

The Pinery does get busy especially the Riverside sites which book quickly. Great sites for wildlife watching and just admiring the scenery.
