It’s both a pain in the butt and also an opportunity to know how it’s built and the knowledge it’s been rebuilt correctly. These kind of projects are a double edge sword for me. Also a chance for upgrades and necessary mods. Good work!
I sure wish this forum would somehow fix the sideways picture thing, it’s been a problem for years.

I removed the bathroom fixtures and water heater so everything is out of the way. The hardest part was loosening the trap on the tub, I had to put one knee in the tub and stand on my head to reach in with Chanel locks to turn the nut. I'm too old to do much of that.

I found the source of a lot of the soft spots in the floor, carpenter ants. I keep a gallon of ant killer in my other camper to spray around to keep ant out. It takes care of carpenter ants too.

I’ve got all the old floor out in the back half and have started installing the plywood there, it should go in fairly quick, I take my time removing thing so I don’t make a mistake.

I've got all the plywood down today, my wife has started priming the cabinets. We're going to paint everything on the inside, since the school system is shut down the rest of the month I have plenty of time to work on it. It will be my luck to get it completed and not be able to use it due to closed campgrounds.

I feel your pain. I laid the floor yesterday and hung wallpaper today. Do you know how I would hang a privacy curtain from the ceiling. I am assuming there is a beam made of metal somewhere in the ceiling

I did the curtain in our outback camper, I found the ceiling track on Amazon and used a cloth shower curtain cut down. I used strips of the curtain to make tie backs, added snaps to complete it. My wife is pretty good with a sewing machine so that part was easy.

The outback has bunk beds in the front along with the bathroom, the curtain gives much more room when using the shower or changing because I can leave the bathroom door open.

No metal beams, factory privacy curtains are mounted to the ceilings with short screws into the plywood of the ceiling. I’m sure you could modify something with rods and hangers but as far as mounting to the ceiling the options are limited a bit

Since you are using it for hunting, if it's not in a permanent spot, I would reverse the axle on the springs to get more ground clearance

We're going to use this camper for weekend trips and some of the smaller north Georgia campgrounds, a lot of the good camping spots are too tight for larger travel trailers. I will use it a couple of times a year for our group hunting trip, been meeting the same group of friends for 15 years. Off grid camping for four days, we take everything we need, some times we never leave the Woods.

We’re getting it back together, I should say what I can with what I have. I got floor covering down in the storage area under the bed and the storage under the fridge. I found a remnant role at Lowe’s for $25, it should be enough to do all the storage areas. I got the water heater and furnace put back in and tested, all works. We primed the inside to paint the walls.

We picked up more painting supplies at Sherwin Williams, you have to call ahead and pay over the phone with a card, then they hand your paint out of the door.

We have the first coat on the walls that will be seen, it brightens it up well.

Going to be so fancy you’ll make the guys pull their boots off before they come into the “mobile hunting cabin”.
