EZ Lube Axle for 184BH

My new to me 184BH doesn't have a grease fitting style bearing covers just old style dust caps. Can you convert these? Should I use like a bearing buddy from a boat trailer or is it something different?

You can buy replacement caps for the axles with removable rubber caps at most auto parts stores. Be sure to rotate the wheel while adding grease to insure even lubrication and to prevent blowing out the grease seals.

I believe bearing buddies are intended for boat trailers more than for RV's. Bearing buddies are supposed to push grease into your bearings when the trailer axles are submerged in water. You will have to remove the bearing buddies to get to the zerk fitting that is in the end of the axle to actually lube the bearings.
