How to replace or paint white surrounds on door window trim

The white plastic trim (about 2 - 2.5" wide) around the glass window of the entry door and storage door on my X213 has turned a yellowish color from the heat and UV we get in Arizona - I suppose that is why at least.
It is easy to pop this off and replace it? Or I was thinking I could just pop it off and repaint it and get some more life out of the same one. Does anyone know if or how these can be popped off?

Thanks,

I have a Jayfeather 19H with the same yellow trim. I started to see if taking the trim off was feasable but didnt think it was so I used a tape and paper masker and masked off the siding on the trailer and masked the window and used a can of spray paint.

Did the same thing on my previous TT as Jay & Rhonda did. I cleaned the yellow area well, masked it off, primed it with a plastic primer, then spray painted it with white satin. Also did the exterior range vent. Never yellowed again.

Somebody put it on there so it must come off somehow! It seems to me that Rust-Oleum makes a special paint for plastic in several colors in a rattle can.

The outside piece is probably well caulked or glued so it might be hard to remove without breeaking it. I would go for the painting in place.

My 213EXP is doing the same. I guess a can of paint is in order.

I would replace it. They cost about 17 dollars.

AMAZING ROLL-OFF is the product to remove the "yellow".

It is a super strength cleaning product developed for boaters. I use it on our RV door window strips et al. Also use it to take off the "yellow" caused by saltwater on windsurfing boards. Aces hardware is where I bought it.
