Jay Flight SLX roof sealant?

Hi,

Does anyone know what roof sealant is safe to use with the rubber roof of the jay flight SLX?

I have a 2018 195RB, and I heard using the regular TPO self-leveling stuff can cause bubbling.

Skwidward,

Welcome to JOF

Dicor caulking/sealer products are commonly used throughout the RV industry and I haven't heard of any Dicor compatibility issues with EPDM and TPO roofing materials. I've used Dicor for decades on my TPO and EPDM RV roofs without incident.

Best to confirm the specific roofing material used on your SLX (contact Jayco and have VIN handy).

Dicor: https://dicorproducts.com/product/epdm-lap-sealants/

Dicor Ultra: http://www.dicor.com/ultrasealant/

This is one of the most discussed topics on this forum, so you'll find a wealth of information by searching the forum for: Eternabond
and: Dicor

Seams like eternabond tape is the way to go!

In case anyone reading is interested, I called Jayco and they told me they recommend any self-leveling sealant for rubber roofs.
