Jayfeather 23M

For those of you with the 23M, do you feel you are losing out on storage as the murphy bed (unlike permanent beds) doesn't allow for any storage underneath?

We are struggling so much with a decision on which model to buy. We really want to have a couch and a dinette as we feel that for longer trips, it will make a lot of difference to have a couch to sit on. But we have only a 1/2 ton and need to keep the weight of the unit reasonable. This makes our options tougher....

Are you buying a used or leftover one? Jayco stopped making the 23M and instead rebranded it a WhiteHawk 23MBH.

I really LOVE the layout of it - but I didn't want to push it w/ my truck's limits.

Looking at a 2013. There is just the two of us, so the bunks are not really required. But I suppose they are there to use for storage and it could be a good resale item for a family option later.

The White Hawk 20MRB doesn't have bunks... Has the Murphy bed/couch and has a corner shower...
