Replacement grease seals

I'm preparing to do my first axle bearing maintaince (repack) and I'm curious where I might buy good quality replacement seals? I'm really not wanting to reuse the original seals. Should there be a part number somewhere on the seal that I can cross reference for the proper seals?

I took my old one to the RV store and there not expensive at all. Bought an extra set for the next time it needs to be done.

NAPA Auto parts. Just take a old seal with you.

Guessing nobody's ever got them directly from dexter's site? Any better or cheaper from Napa vs. oem?

$hipping is why we go to NAPA or AutoZone or ....

You want your spindles exposed to the weather while UPS takes it's own sweet time to deliver your parts to the wrong house?


And to the OP: Replacing the seals is standard practice since they are usually destroyed to get the inner bearing out for repacking.
