replacing slide sweeper gasket

I have a 31FK Designer with dual slides. Winterizing the trailer for winter this past week I noticed that one of the slides had a detached sweeper gasket. I reset the gasket, about one foot, but was wondering how difficult it is to replace the gasket. This gasket seemed to have some type of metal teeth to hold it in place. Do you need to use some type of adhesive. Dealer indicated that this is about a 4 to five hour job and could require removing the slide. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Is your trailer not under warranty anymore? If your trailer uses the Schwintek system, it looks quite easy to replace them. It is well documented on the Internet. I will send a link if that's the system it uses.
