Roof repair

I have a jayco 154 bh, love it! Question is, A small tree branch put a 2 inch hole in roof on the edge near the shower roof panel. Covered the hole with external bond. Stopped leak but have a soft spot about 4x6 inch on roof. Could I shoot some sort of liquid sealer inside to harden the roof? Don't want to bring in for repair because you know how much that would cost.

Need a little more information. How old is it? How long was it damaged before discovered and repaired? Are you sure it does not leak now?
If the area is damaged gets some Eternabond tape ready. Then neatly cut it open to reveal the bad spot.
If it is a small area you could repair it by cutting it out, putting some support under the hole and then putting in a matching repair piece. Or, it is to much for you, find someone who would do it.
Then tape up all the cuts and Dicor the edges of tape if you want.

Bummer. More info is needed. Is the soft spot believed to be rot from water damage? Or could it be the plywood is damaged from how the branch hit the roof?

You say the damage happened really close to the Shower skylight. Can you look in the attic space through removing the inside skylight or vent trim pieces? Might have more insulation to move around to get a good look.

Been a long time since I took the inside shower skylight trim off. But as I recall once you do you can see up into the attic space of the TT.

If it is just cracked plywood, I would probably just leave it alone. Just remember that is a no step location.

Report back, once you look at it from the inside. If it is more serious I have some ideas on how to reinforce the area.
