Downey fabric softner works fine too. Just the cheapest stuff you can find. 1-2 cups will keep the side walls slick and tank empties well. Look on YouTube and I think there is a video. I would think any low sudsing detergent would work fine. I prefer liquid, but powder mixed with water would be good. I like the Pine Sol idea too. Mr. Clean has a more pleasant odor to me, that would probably work too. Lot's of cheap solutions out there. Best regards, Doug

We also have the 9 gal.tank and we do what someone suggested earlier. After dumping we refill the black tank with a 5 gal. bucket and re dump it. We can do this 3 times in about 15 minutes. then we add 2 gal of water and chemicals and were good until our next outing. DW and I have never camped with full hookups, during the day we use cg facilities and only use our tt for nighttime use.We have stayed as many a 8 days and have never filled the black water tank. Grey water is a different story, we always end up having to dump that, sometimes using some very creative ideas.........happy camping!

thanks for the great info, I bought a used TT and a hydro flush was included in the items purchased. I have yet to use it but we have only been to one site so far and dumped a small amount. I will have to try the the H/flush thanks again.
