351 RLTS poor radio reception
My 2015 351 RLTS has very poor radio reception. The system is an iRV Technologies. The antenna is mounted on the curbside slide.
FM is passable, however AM is terrible. Moving the trailer is not an option. I did not encounter this issue with my previous Jayco so I don't think it is poor signal strength.
Has anyone experienced a similar issue and is there a work around?

I have the same problem. There is a thread on here about another who had a problem with the antenna connection.
I have not looked it yet in 4 years, that's how much we listen to AM.

On the slide? Maybe the side of the slide? Anyway, mine is on the main roof close to the ladder. I'd sart by checking the back of the stereo to verify it's plugged in tight. From there follow the cable as you are able looking for damage. You could plug in a replacement antenna and hold it outside to verify its not the stereo.

Thanks for your input.
I'll check out the back of the system and ensure things are tight and follow the cable.
Hopefully something is just loose.

My am antenna is at the back of the main roof by the ladder. Have they changed the location of the radio?

The radio is located in the curb side slide on the RLTS.
I suppose that is why the antenna is on the slide as well.
Unfortunately I can't change the factory antenna for an aftermarket extendable one because the awning is in the way.

If it mounted on the outside wall it should be accessible from outside if you need to test or replace it.
