Adding Solar

Hi ... I have a 2006 Escapade (25 foot class C). I'd like to add some solar, while also having the current couch battery charger systems available. Do I need a solar charger of some kind ? How should such system be connected.
thanks

Try the search bar above with different search terms. Tons of good information there.
When you say want solar start thinking.
How much, Keep the battery charged while stored?
Occasional boondocks with limited use.
Really need that microwave, coffee pot, etc.
want to power a residential refrigerator?

then you have an idea of how much solar but also how much battery storage.
Generator backup?

Lots of questions to research and ask yourself

Last off How much do you want to spend and can you install it yourself

good luck!

Matt5ash, if you click on community, then social groups in the toolbar above, you can search for RVing with Solar group. A lot of really good photos and information about solar there. I got a Renogy kit that came with just about everything I needed and am extremely happy with the end results.

Thanks for the hints !! Hopefully, I've a reasonable idea of electrical power usage (lights, running the propane fridge, and computer charging mostly ... sometimes a fan maybe).
