Cargo Door/Auto Level Issue

Hi,

We are new to this forum stuff so please excuse us if this has been addressed already.

We just bought a 2019 Jayco Embark. This is our 2nd trip and the first time encountering a problem trying to open the cargo doors after auto leveling the unit. We had to retract all the jacks in order to open the cargo doors. We tried it a 2nd time, and it didn't work again.

Does anyone know why or what causes this?

Is this true for all the cargo doors or just one or two? Also, is the. coach new and under warranty or used?

Thanks for the reply. This was true for all cargo doors on the passenger side of the RV. We did not check the other side however. We bought it new, and it is under warranty. They just had trouble finding a buyer that wanted such a large RV is what they said. There have been some electrical issues as well.

Just to clarify once we retracted the jacks all cargo doors will open on the passenger side.

Sounds like the frame/body is flexing.
Check the door gaps before leveling then check after!

Maybe the flexing is normal and there is not enough clearance around the doors?

I suspect that your auto level is out of calibration in a big way causing flex. Have you tried putting a long level on say the kitchen floor after auto leveling to see if it is in fact level?

Did you calibrate your auto level before using it the 1st time? One would presume the dealership would have tested it but one never knows. You may want to get the manual, follow the directions and do a calibration on the auto level system.
