New To Me 12 volt Refrigerator

Have a few questions concerning our new Jayco 24RL and it's 12 volt fridg.
The trailer was special ordered with the 12 volt unit and 50 amp electrical service, and will come with one 12 volt battery. We do NOT boondock, and at our home I have a dedicated 30 amp outlet for the rv installed .
Is the one battery sufficient to power the fridg while on the road traveling...of course the trailer and truck is set up with the usual 7 pin plug with the hot charge wire.
Our daily trip runs are usually 6-7 hours and we always camp at full hook up sites.
Our last 2 rv's, motor homes, had 2 batteries in series, and aside from replacing about every 3 years, we never had a problem, but of course the fridg was gas/110 electric.
Wondering if I should just get the second battery right off, or would I be OK for a year or two on the one battery, and when it's time to replace, just get two AGM batteries (lithium's are nice but mucho $$$$)

Do you know which 12V frig you will be getting?

If the frig is pre cooled, before leaving, I would say you will be just fine. From what I have been researching, the smaller 10cu frigs, will go for about 30 hours, on a single battery with absolutely nothing else running, and pre cooled.

Not sure of make (silly..I didn't notice when we had a quick look...rig is being cleaned and prepped...walk thru and pick up on Wednesday)
But it is an 8 cu. ft.
And, we have been always able to pre-cool before we start out.
Just trying to stay informed as this is the first 12 volt frifg we have had...previous trailers and motor homes have all been gas/110 electric.

8 cuft frig is the dual fuel option. 10 cuft is the 12v option. Both fit in the same space.

Have fun with your new tt.

Build sheet lists it as an 8 cu ft 12 volt fridg in place of a 6 cu ft gas/elec.
Also listed in the Jay Feather as 8 ct ft....either way, 8 or 10, it is what it is, and what we wanted.

Most 12v fridges are no different than a residential, a 12 volt compressor vs a 120 volt. Check the amp. requirement on the manufacture sticker and do the math for how long it will run on battery alone. Below are specs. for a Furrion
Input voltage: DC 12V (min. DC 10.5V to max. DC 17V)
Input power rating: ≤ 15A (11A @ 12V DC)
Energy Consumption: 1.08kWh per day
