PT50X Shut Me Down Again - Twice

We had a bit of snow here in central Alabama yesterday and twice during the day my power went off for 2.5 minutes which is the time it takes the PT50X to come back on after an event. Both times I walked outside after it turned me back on to see if there was a saved event or not. Nothing saved would indicate a power outage, but I had a "High Frequency" issue both times. This is the first time I have seen that type of "save", but I'm glad my PT50X is inline. I am on my home base residential site BTW.

As I have stated many times "I will never ever plug in anywhere without my PT50X inline" and this includes my home base site.

We have had our EMS-30HW shut down for low voltage. It was in the mid 90's and every camper in the campground was running their A/C hard!

In 5 years mine has caught maybe 3 “events” but each time I’ve responded with “thank you Progressive”. I have a hard-wired version so not using it isn’t an option.

Yes, they are an absolute necessity in my book. I’ve had my electronics saved a couple of times from using one and I will never be without it. Glad you had yours on and it worked.

Our salesman tried to talk us into buying one when we picked up our new camper in July. Thought it was quite gimmicky. As I walked around their store I continued to think about all the electronics built into the trailer and then thought about our iPhones and iPads etc we travel with. After 10 minutes I picked one up and headed to the cash register. Surprising it has saved my skin twice this summer. Money well spent IMHO.
