Rear Observation Monitor - Best Place to Mount

I just installed a rear observation camera on the travel trailer and I'm now trying to figure out what is the best place to mount the monitor. It's 5" monitor and I'm driving a 2012 F-250. I currently have it on a suction cup mount low on the driver's side of the windshield.

It seems to be a good location that doesn't obscure my view of the road and what's in front of me but I'd like to know what others have found is the ideal location.

I have a 9" monitor that I put rubber bands around it and mount to the rear view mirror. The mirror is never used while towing so it works great.

I have a 5" monitor for mine, using one of those "heavy" mounting pads cut to fit the storage/junk bin on the top of the radio stack in my '18 F150. Monitor is attached or clipped to the provided stand with the suction cup base that could be attached to the windshield. I cut the pad down to fit the storage bin

How are you running the power cord from the monitor to the power source (lighter socket)?

Another good idea and my wife has one of those pads in her car that she doesn't use. She'll never know it's missing .

I'm going to try both suggestions and see which works best for me.

Thanks folks.

Toyota Tundra. I have a little clamshell holder I sit on the dash flat spot. It’s easy to use it as my rear view tow mirror.
