Sirius antenna

Has anyone added the sirius add on parts that allow the Clarion radio to receive Sirius or HD programing? Seems like it'll be more hassle to add it on then if they just included it for the small price compared to what I paid for the vehicle…

I was able to get the receiver for my 29KS last year and I installed it myself. It took a couple of hours to remove the Clarion and hook it up using the supplied wire harness. I only laid the antenna wire on the dash where the GPS antenna is. It seems to work ok for me. An experienced installer probably could have done it in an hour I think, the problem is finding the receiver. I personally would buy an auto Sirius kit and plug it into the AUX. jack on the front of the unit and power it from the AUX. power port. The auto Sirius kit is about the same price as the receiver, and during the off camping season you can take it in the house and use it there. Good luck.
