My actions would be first determine battery health with a meter. If good, next check amps with a claw meter at each hot wire to a slide motor while operating the in/out button. (a two person job) compare reads. If similar or same, most likely a mechanical issue with the offender.
If the non working slide current draw is considerably different, you need to chase down the issue: check the ground, check the motor for excess heat, check the works for binding, etc. to diagnose and decide the fix.
Any other ideas will surely be coming from others.
