Pro= They are dependable and very common in the rv industry.
Con=They are prone to have problems that are easily fixed if you take the time to understand how yours work and know what to do when a problem arises, before it arises.
Also there are many in the rv repair industry that don't have a clue what to do when one breaks, even though there are many sources to learn about them.
I think the industry jumped the gun by putting them in all slides and now are finding that they do not work well with heavy slideouts and are making changes to correct the problem by beefing them up with more powerful motors and more support.
