Voltage

I want to remove the radio and the cabinet in our 2008 x Sport 17. I have two wires white and green. Can anyone tell me if they are 110 volts or 12volts?

12 volt. 120 volt will be a black, white & bare copper inside a white or yellow sheath,

I would recommend you get a multi-tester for use whenever there is a question about wiring. Test for AC in the 120 volt range first, then DC in the 10 to 20 volt range.

Another tester is a live wire tester. Looks like a pen and can show if Ac wire is "hot" without touching the wire.

the multi-tester is also good for checking your battery voltage, polarity of wiring and weather a switch or wire is working.

Based on your description it is most likely 12 volt wiring. But testing it first is always good. Jayco does screwy things when wiring these trailers.

Jayco sent me by e mail the wiring diagram. I ma impressed with Jayco. Yes it is 110 volts.
I removed the cabinet for more room the radio was a waste of space. My I pad has better music .
This trailer is a 2008 and we have made updates to make it better for us to try out snowbird lifestyle.
Thank you everyone for your help with each project.
