Do you mean the pump comes on when you turn on a spigot in the trailer or when you turn the water on at the source that feeds the city water connection to your trailer?

On my Greyhawk you have to set the valves so the city water is routed to the internal plumbing. I also have to turn off the pump switch so the pump doesn't try to run with the pressure drop.

Just try turning off the pump switch. If water flows when hooked up to city water all is good.

Be aware also that depending on what type of unit you have there may be 2 water pump switches in different locales.

If your valves are set for “city water”, your water pump should be turned off.

2018 Jayco Precept 36T, with spigot on and pump switches off it was running. From what the manual says it may run automatically with low city pressure. Past weekend CG was full when this took place. Now not so full and it don't run. So I guess all is well. Thx for all the INFO
