What you don't want to do is feed the WEBER regulator with your propane connections on your your trailer that is also already regulated...
You can go directly to the propane tanks and be ok.
If you remove the regulator on the Weber then you will be ok but that doesn't allow you to use your weber with the other portable propane tanks you want to use...
With all of this in mind alot of folks just get a 20 lbs propane tank just for the Weber and use it that way. 20 lb tank will last a long time...
I personally like to use the 1lb canisters as that makes me always have a supply of those on-hand for PLAN B things...
