2017-2018 Ford F350 Superduty

Hi all,

I need to buy a new truck cause some fool stole my truck. I am pricing newer trucks and prices are crazy. It's been a while since i had to buy a truck. I will getting an F350 CrewCab SRW and a diesel for sure. I was curious what everyone is really paying for these trucks? I know it is regional based a bit but just curious. If you don't mind could people share their prices out the door including tax and registration? If you don't want to post please PM me instead. I just can't fathom paying $60-70k for a truck.

thanks everyone....

Lots of info here

That question has been asked a lot. And, you’ll learn how to mod the truck computer to customize features to your liking.

I'll be that guy. I've always been a Ford guy...previous 2 vehicles were an '08 Shelby GT 500 and an '01 Explorer Sport Trac. I went to buy a new Ford 350 and they wouldn't come off the sticker more than $8k (granted I'll acknowledge that this was the 1st year of the new body)...So I drove a GMC & Ram. I found a leftover '16 Ram Laramie Long Horn with every option and got just over $17k off of the MSRP. All I'm saying is drive all of the big 3 and go with the best deal you can get. That's what I did and I've been very happy with my decision! Definitely see if you can find a leftover '17 somewhere nearby with any of the dealerships.

IMO, price quotes not including tax and registration will be more helpful/accurate. Some states may charge lower/higher or no sales tax, and/or may include some form of property tax with registration fees, whereas your state may or may not. Without taking this into consideration you could skew the accuracy of your baseline thousands of dollars.

Have you considered a used truck? You could get a 14-16 model F350 for under $40k. I bought my F350 DRW Platinum used as a 2 year old vehicle for about 1/2 the sticker price. Now that the new body style is out, lots of guys are trading in for the new model.

x1. We test drove and tried to work deals on all the Big 3 diesels. While searching nationwide, we found the Ram diesels (with similar MSRP's as the Ford and Chevy diesels) were generally selling for $4k - $8k less.

Of course, for those who are brand loyal---no amount of discount on the wrong truck will ever make it right. If that's the case, please disregard!

Good luck with your search, Artsville!
