2018 F-150 2.7L Eco-boost

Are any of you are using a Ford F-150 2.7L Eco-boost for your tow vehicle? Tell me your towing stories...Good or Bad. Thanks. I feel sure it will get the job done towing our new 212 QB. We go pick it up on Saturday.

Looks like you were to pick up your new trailer yesterday. How did the 2.7 handle it?

The 2.7L Ecoboost impressed me. Part of the trip was a cross wind and the other was a head wind. Set cruise on 60 and 65 mph and the truck didn't seem to struggle. A few hills but no steep grades. We go to Arkansas and travel up Hwy. 49 through the Ozarks in June and that will tell me for sure how impressed I'll be with the 2.7L. Looking forward to our many adventures. Blessed and Happy Travels to you and yours.

2.7L Ecoboost Update

TOTALLY IMPRESSED...with the 2.7L Ecoboost. The Truck never stained once while driving up from Texas or while on Hwy 49 through the Mountains from Ft. Smith to Bella Vista Arkansas. Hwy speeds up to but not exceeding 65 mph with cruise control set in tow haul mode. We got 10.9 mpg towing (including the wind in our face and the mountain miles) and up to 26.7 mpg while driving around sight seeing through the mountains. Completely Satisfied...Great Job Ford! Love our travel trailer too! Looking forward to many fond memories over the next several years traveling around the good ole USA. Happy and Blessed Travels to Each and Everyone!
